Q: Do I have to have a website to sign up as an affiliate?
A: Yes. You will need to have a website that is related to homeschooling to be approved.

Q: Can I promote using Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising?
A: Absolutely! You can use whatever tools are at your disposal to acquire clicks and sales.

Q: How do I receive commission?
A: When users click on your banner or link to our website, and they purchase one of the commissionable products, we give you 10% of that sale!

Q: Is everything on your website commissionable? 
A: No. Lab equipment and other specific items are not eligible for commissions.   Only items published by Apologia, including textbooks, notebooking journals, audio CDs, DVDs, sets, as well as apparel/accessories will be eligible for commissions.

Q: How and when will I be paid?
A: We pay our affiliates on the 15th of every month using Paypal.  Unlike our old system, you do not need to request a withdrawal.  We will send your money to you as long as you have a minimum of $25 in your affiliate commissions.

Q: Will we have new affiliate links if we were affiliates on the old system?
A: Yes. The affiliate links from the old system will become obsolete. While we are using Direct Linking in our new system, you will have an affiliate ID that you can capture to use in social media and email.

Q: Are the Apologia Online Academy classes eligible for commissions?
A: Not yet.  We are currently working on a way to integrate systems together to make Online Academy classes commissionable.  We will update all of our affiliates as we progress in this endeavor.

Q: What happens if a customer returns a product?
A: When a cusstomer returns a product, you will see an additional commission show up in the commission report that is linked to the original commission by order number. This new commission will be for the negative amount of the original commission, thereby canceling it out. If you have a zero balance at the time of the return (because you were just paid), a negative balance will be in effect until more commissions are acquired.
