Frequently Asked Questions

  • When is the deadline for the next science fair?

The deadline for Apologia’s 2025 Science Fair is Friday, April 25, 2025.

  • Will my video be shared publicly?

On the entry form, there is a question that asks if you will grant Apologia permission to share your video. You do not have to grant sharing permission in order to enter the science fair.

We would love to share clips of the science fair entries with the homeschool community through our social media channels.

  • Can international students enter?

Yes! We welcome entries from homeschooled students around the globe.

  • Can students in a co-op or hybrid school enter?

Yes! We welcome homeschool, co-op, and hybrid school students to enter.

  • Can science fair entries be done by a group as well as an individual?

Yes, groups of up to 5 may work together on a single video submission. If a group is selected as a winner, one medal or trophy will be awarded per winning project. The names of all participants will be included on the prize.

If your team would like to purchase additional medals or trophies, we can provide the information for you to place an order.

  • Can students submit a project with an experiment from an Apologia textbook?

We highly recommend that your science fair project be unique and not one included in an Apologia textbook.
