Want to see your child on the cover of Apologia’s 2026 Catalog and win free curriculum? Submit a photo showing your family using Apologia curriculum and experiencing the awe and wonder of creation to enter our photo contest!

Rules

  • The submission deadline is September 30, 2025.
  • This contest is open to all, including those in the US and abroad.
  • You must have legal guardianship of anyone photographed or written consent from the child’s legal guardian to qualify.

How to Enter

  • Take a high-quality, high-resolution photo featuring your students/family using Apologia’s curriculum and/or exploring the awe and wonder of God’s creation.
  • Submit your photo using our online submission form.
  • Be sure to read and accept the required photo release agreement.
  • We will announce the winner on October 3, 2025.

Photo Guidelines

  • Natural Lighting is always best, and be sure that any lighting is facing the focal point of your photo rather than behind it.
  • As moms, we totally get messy homes, but try to keep the background of your photo as clutter-free as possible.
  • Apart from Apologia, ensure that nothing in your photo has a visible company logo.
  • Follow the Rule of Thirds – imagine the frame is divided into a 3×3 grid. Place key elements of the image along these lines or at their intersections rather than in the center to create a more balanced and engaging visual.
  • Use a high-resolution camera (most smartphones will do just fine!) and make sure the image isn’t blurry or pixilated.
  • Please take the photo vertically.
  • Be sure to include your child(ren) in the photo!

Photo Ideas & Inspiration

We’d love to see:

  • A student reading an Apologia textbook or working on their notebook, either inside or outside, in nature.
  • A student learning by doing an activity or experiment.
  • A group of siblings learning side-by-side.
  • Students exploring God’s creation outside, inspired by the curriculum.
  • Nature journaling or sketching with Apologia’s science curriculum.
  • Hands-on learning using manipulatives, games, art, or crafts.
