Tabatha is a seasoned educator from southwest Michigan with over 20 years of teaching experience. She is passionate about science and loves connecting all of creation back to our Creator. She cannot wait to spark your passion and wonder for the incredible laws God uses to make life possible!

Over the years, Tabatha has taught Anatomy & Physiology, AP Biology, Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Science to thousands of high school students in a variety of settings including public school, private Christian school, and Apologia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education Biology from Western Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Science Education from Indiana University. In addition, Tabatha is an ACSI certified instructor and has been the lead advisor for over 40 HOSA students competing nationally for the last 5 years. Tabatha was named Teacher Heart of Covenant in 2026 after being nominated by students and families who wrote about the positive impact she has made in their lives.

Besides teaching, Tabatha enjoys spending time with her friends & family and being in nature. She is a lifelong learner who enjoys hiking, traveling, baseball, gardening, DIY projects and competing in Spartan Races and Triathlons with her husband and adult children. Above all, Tabatha loves the Lord, has been saved by His grace, and strives to live for Him each day.

Tabatha and her husband of 28 years reside in Indiana. They have 4 adult children and 2 pups, Rallie & Oakley.
