Ciera Proudfoot
B.S. Animal Science
Ciera Proudfoot lives in Gainesville, Florida with her husband, Robert. They recently welcomed their first child, Robert III, whom they love dearly. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a specialization in Cattle Production.
Ciera is passionate about educating the public on the science behind agriculture and food production. She is also deeply committed to helping people come to know Jesus as their Savior, teaching them how to grow in their faith, and equipping them to confidently share the good news of the Gospel with others. Since graduating, she has served as a Collegiate Missionary with the Baptist Collegiate Ministries at the University of Florida, where she loves seeing students’ lives transformed through encounters with the Gospel.
Having used Apologia throughout her own middle and high school years, Ciera is enthusiastic about helping others learn about God’s creation through this curriculum. She has served as an Apologia Biology Teaching Assistant for two years and is excited to begin her journey as an official Apologia Biology teacher this year. She looks forward to seeing her students in class.
