Meet Linda

Linda has found her role at Apologia to be very rewarding, and she enjoys helping customers, and even praying with them. “I love using my homeschool background and the vast number of resources that Apologia offers to help parents find that missing puzzle piece to a problem they are having.”

Linda is a veteran when it comes to homeschooling children. She spent 23 years teaching all 5 of her children, using an eclectic and blended teaching style that included aspects of unit study, Charlotte Mason, Classical, Living Books, and more. With her Bachelor of Arts in English Education and her Master’s in Library Sciences, it’s no surprise that she enjoyed teaching History and English to her children the most.

Meet Shellby

Shellby has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Physical Education and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She worked as a school-based Speech-Language pathologist for several years before joining our team. Like many of you, Shellby and her husband are fairly new to homeschooling. After praying about their decision to pull both of their sons from public school, Shellby and her husband took the leap about 2 years ago and have found success using both the Classical and Charlotte Mason methods in their homeschool. Due to her fitness background, she loves teaching health and fitness, but she is also a big fan of teaching history and taking educational trips to national parks with the family. For Shellby, the best part about helping others on their homeschooling journey is talking with like-minded homeschooling parents and helping them choose the best options for their kids to be successful.

Meet Angela

Angela has been with the company since its early days, beginning her journey as a Retail Specialist. As the organization grew, so did her role. She was instrumental in developing the school division and also provided customers with welcoming and dependable service at the front desk.

Over the years, Angela took on greater responsibilities and now serves as the Retail and School Account Manager. She personally manages many of the company’s largest retail accounts, ensuring that each one receives dedicated, personalized attention from start to shipment.

With the evolving needs of the homeschool community, Angela has recently expanded her role to include processing ESA scholarships and supporting co-ops.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys living an active lifestyle. You’ll often find her biking long distances, strolling the beach, boating, and most of all, cherishing time with her family.

Meet Caleen

Caleen is a veteran homeschool mom from Salt Lake City, Utah, where she and her husband, Dave, raised their 6 children. She has participated in and helped lead several homeschool co-ops, including Apologia co-ops. After graduating as a homeschool mom, Caleen graduated with her AAS in Technical Studies. She is now working towards a BA in Psychology. For fun, she enjoys cooking, playing virtual reality video games, and serving with the tech crew, where she runs the soundboard for her church’s worship team, which her husband also plays piano for. She has experience working in both customer and technical support and is thrilled to be a part of the Apologia team!
