Recorded Class: Fundamentals of Math

Description

Apologia’s Fundamentals of Math class introduces a scope of subjects and provides a base for higher-level math. Students will explore decimals, fractions, integers, area and volume, statistics and more. Problem solving and real-life uses of math are featured in each chapter. This course will lay a solid foundation for pre-algebra, which will provide a smooth transition to high-school math.

Schedule: One prerecorded, 15-minute class posted daily Monday – Thursday

NOTE: Students will watch recorded classes, but Mrs. Pennington will be available for questions and feedback in real time.

Course Specifics

Students are expected to watch the daily video, read the corresponding section of the workbook, and complete the assigned problems for the day. Every Friday, students will take a quiz or exam graded by the teacher. The teacher is available to answer questions through email at any time.
