Description
In Apologia’s Live Spanish 2 class, students deepen their understanding of grammar and vocabulary while learning to express ideas more clearly and thoughtfully in Spanish. Rather than memorizing isolated rules, students apply language in meaningful contexts through structured writing, guided speaking, and cumulative assessments that reflect how language is actually used. Emphasis is placed on building strong habits in verb tense usage, sentence structure, and vocabulary development, while reinforcing key concepts introduced in Spanish 1.
NOTE: Students must be able to read and write at a 9th-grade level. Students entering Spanish 2 should understand -ar, -er, -ir conjugation of the present tense, present progressive, reflexive verbs, indirect/direct objects, definite/indefinite articles, imperative, and basic stem changes.
There are doubtless many different languages in the world, and none is without meaning. -1 Corinthians 14:10
