Description

Apologia’s Live Class: Forensics invites students into an interactive exploration of how science is used to uncover truth and pursue justice. In weekly live sessions, students learn directly from a retired federal law enforcement investigator, ask questions in real time, and engage with forensic concepts through guided instruction, quizzes, and optional hands-on labs. The course may be completed as a high school science credit or a science-based elective.

J. Austin Powell is a retired law enforcement professional and educator with nearly 30 years of experience at the local and federal levels. His career included senior policy advisory roles, testimony before a state General Assembly, and contributions to federal legislation signed into law by the President. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and serves on the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ Advisory Council.
